What? Festival of Voice
Description? Created by Wales Millennium Centre, Festival of Voice Cardiff is an international arts festival in Wales' capital city that celebrates the voice in all its forms. Festival of Voice is about discovery through participation and immersion - about finding voices. Voice is something that transcends culture and language. It's primal; it brings us together whether we're happy or melancholy, and we have created the festival as a way of bottling that pure emotion. We're bringing artists and audiences together to hear and be heard.

Description? Cardiff Fringe Theatre Festival was set up in 2016 to make theatre affordable for audiences and artists. Unlike many fringe festivals, this is not an appendage to an existing festival. The CFTF celebrates the pre-existing community of quirky, independent, original, and up-and-coming artists on the 'fringe' of the commercial entertainment industry in Cardiff. We are proud to say it is a Community Interest Company run by local volunteers.

Miscellaneous
What? Man v Horse
Description? The event began in June 1980 when then Landlord, Gordon Green, overheard two men discussing the relative merits of men and horses running over mountainous terrain. The enterprising Gordon, never one to miss an opportunity to promote Llanwrtyd Wells and improve business at his hotel, decided to put it to the test. And so, began Green Events and its first, longest standing and now internationally acclaimed event, Man v Horse. It took 25 years before a runner finally beat all the horses - in 2004 Huw Lobb won in 2hrs and 5mins, beating the fastest horse by 2 minutes. His feat was repeated 3 years later by Florien Holtinger, but the horse has remained unbeaten since.
When? 9th June
Where? The Square, Llanwrtyd Wells
